La sécurité digitale me concerne !

The Canton of Vaud is committed to raise the awareness of both the public and SME’s to cyber-risks during the Swiss Digital Day by explaining the fundamentals to be known and implemented on a daily basis in order to protect their data and guarantee their digital security. The canton of Vaud, in collaboration with several private and academic partners, will present best practices in the area of cybersecurity on two different sites in the city of Yverdon-les-Bains.

Explore digital together

The second Swiss Digital Day will be held on October 25th 2018. This day aims to digital transformation tangible for the Swiss population, trigger an in-depth discussion on the subject and present the related opportunities and challenges. This year, the Digital Day is gaining more importance. Under the motto "explore digital together", the Day will be even closer to the population with activities in more than twelve cities.

A digital security hub in Yverdon-les-Bains

As part of this day, a thematic hub around digital security will be set up in Yverdon-les-Bains. Indeed, the city possesses a real center of expertise in cybersecurity. The School of Management and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD) offers training in computer security, and organizes its annual conference "Black Alps", which has become an essential for actors of the field. In addition, the Y-Parc technology park welcomes startups and recognized companies such as NetGuardians, Snapchat, Sysmosoft, and is developing a cluster around the "blockchain".
