INNOVAUD

Innovaud provides a variety of services to promote the local economy, establish new, high-added-value businesses in our region, and create new jobs.
 

Innovaud is the innovation agency for the canton of Vaud. Innovaud helps tech-oriented companies (startups, scale-ups, SMEs and corporates) develop their businesses and carry out innovation projects. It also assists foreign companies wanting to set up in our region. In 2020 Innovaud merged with Vaud's economic development agency (DEV) to create a single point of contact and offer a more comprehensive array of services.

More specifically, Innovaud strives to:

PROMOTE: Promote the innovative work being done by Vaud based businesses and entrepreneurs
INVEST: Encourage investment in Vaud and showcase its strengths to the international business community, such as through initiatives Innovaud carries out with partner organizations. Innovaud also helps foreign companies open offices in our region by providing advice on business creation, helping them find the right premises, hosting networking opportunities, and more
CONNECT: Innovaud puts entrepreneurs in touch with the right organizations for financing, support, promotion, hosting and networking
EXPAND: Innovaud helps local businesses expand internationally, mainly through its Scale Up Vaud program and various events it holds abroad 
EXPLORE: Innovaud’s activities include keeping in touch with the global innovation community and identifying new innovation hubs around the world
